L&T has contributed significantly to the Indian nuclear power programme through design and supply of critical equipment, and construction services. A recent achievement was the execution of the primary piping package - a crucial part of the nuclear reactor - for TAPP 3&4, India's first 540 MWe indegenously developed Pressurised Heavy Water Reactor. L&T is now fully geared to undertake execution of mega packages on turnkey basis.
