L&T has established a dedicated “Floating Systems Business Unit” to address the Exploration and Production needs of the offshore deepwater and marginal fields.  Supported by strategic partnerships with leading companies in the global market, L&T offers single point responsibility for execution of floating system projects like Jack-up rigs, Semi-Submersibles for deep water drilling and production Purpose and FPSO conversion.

Over the past one decade L&T has built world class fabrication facility in India well backed up by focused upstream engineering from Bangalore / Faridabad and experienced project management and global sourcing from Mumbai /Sharjah.

L&T has established an all-weather delivery modular fabrication yard at Oman. The yard covers 400,000 sq.m developed area and fabrication shops, with 500 m water front and jetties of up to10,000 MT heavy single load-out facility. The facility will be fully compliant with ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:1999, API and ASME pressure vessel stamps quality management systems, procedures and HSE practices.  Our facility at Sohar is just and extension of our rich resource and experience.
