Design and projects offices in Mumbai, Faridabad, Bangalore, Vadodara, Hazira, Chennai and Kattupalli are linked to other offices through L&T-Network. Project sites are linked to design and project offices through VSATs, Leased Lines, ISDN and wireless links, achieving virtual single office operation. The communication network at Powai and Vadodara are supported by 10 Gigabit backbones on fibre optic Campus Area with high-speed wireless links. |

| L&T Hydrocarbon has multi-point group video conferencing systems at Mumbai, Faridabad, Bangalore, Vadodara, Hazira, Chennai and Kattupalli. The systems are capable of working simultaneously on IP and ISDN. A high-end document camera with an electronic whiteboard facilitates sharing of data and printed documents online. Two TV screens allow simultaneous viewing of the participants as well as discussion material. The systems are also capable of conducting simultaneous video conferencing in up to four different locations. |
