L&T CMD S N Subrahmanyan (SNS) has been named India’s Best CEO in the Super Large category by prestigious business magazine, Fortune India.
The coveted award was handed over to SNS in Mumbai on 17 November by Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal, in the presence of Shashwat Goenka (Vice Chairman RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group) and Sourav Majumdar (Editor-in-Chief of Fortune India).
SNS has been the recipient of several honours and awards so far, and those are a testament to his inspiring leadership and clarity of vision. Earlier this month, the KIIT University of Odisha conferred a honorary DSc on him.
SNS was bestowed the Eminent Engineer award by the Engineering Council of India in 2024. He was featured on the cover of Fortune India’s October 2023 edition as India’s Best CEO, was declared the winner in the Infrastructure & Engineering category of the Business Today-PwC India’s Best CEOs ranking in 2022 and was ranked 8th in the Construction Week’s Power 100 Ranking for 2022.
In 2020, he achieved the Top CEO (Sell Side) and the 3rd Best CEO (Overall) in the All-Asia Executive Team Survey conducted by Institutional Investor, and was named CEO of the Year by CNBC-Awaaz. His exemplary leadership was recognised with the Emergent CEO Award in 2019.
