The Project Director Academy reinforces L&T’s commitment to project execution excellence across businesses and geographies, ensuring that we continue to deliver large, complex, multidisciplinary EPC projects that shape India’s infrastructure and enhance our global footprint. It reflects our belief that building leadership from within is the cornerstone of sustained organisational success.
The launch of the Academy was recently held at the L&T Institute of Project Management (IPM) in Vadodara, in the presence of senior leadership from across the Group, reflecting the shared ownership and enthusiasm across L&T for this strategic initiative.
Combining learning with credentials: The PDA includes a progressive qualification framework, offering five professional development milestones and five industry-recognised accreditations across levels. This ensures that participants build advanced project leadership capabilities, while earning recognised professional credentials – reinforcing L&T’s commitment to developing globally benchmarked project talent.
PDA roll-out begins with the first programme under the Academy: Essentials of Project Leadership, designed by IPM in collaboration with IIM Indore - a foundational programme that builds core project leadership capabilities among early-career engineers and young professionals - this Level 0 programme forms the base of the PDA development ladder.
