Rebuilding Anganwadis - Building Futures

A few months ago, L&T Group Chairman Mr A.M. Naik, was approached by “Riddhi Siddhi Adarsh Gram Vikas Mandal-Village Chondha”, Taluka Vansada, District Navsari, Gujarat for support in making their village an ‘Adarsh Village’. During focussed Group Discussions with the community members one of the key needs that emerged was for repairing of four anganwadis in the village and setting up of Science and Computer Labs in the local high school.


Protecting the eco-system with special lighting

Among the many ‘marine ecosystem and migratory bird friendly’ measures adopted at the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link project site is a special lighting system that causes minimal disturbance to birds & marine life, designed in consultation with an ornithologist.


A mobile app for the hearing impaired

India’s largest project to restore water bodies

All L&T Campuses Achieve Water Positive Status

Helping Build a Greener Planet

In the week from July 1 to July 7, 2017, L&Teers planted 36326 saplings across the state of Maharashtra. L&T’s Tree Plantation Drive is an ongoing response to the substantial climate change and sustainability challenges, like water supply and biodiversity loss. Through proactive advocacy by environmentally conscious employees, Ladies clubs (consisting of spouses of employees and women employees) and NGO partners, this drive catalysed tree planting action in 10 major districts of Maharashtra.
