Mr. T. Madhava Das is the Member of the Board and Senior Executive Vice President heading the Energy Hydrocarbon Division of Larsen & Toubro.
A 1985 Electrical Engineering graduate from NIT Calicut (formerly Regional Engineering College, Calicut), he completed his Post Graduate Programme in Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, and a long duration programme for Senior Executives at London Business School subsequently. He is the recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus Award 2025 from NIT Calicut.
He represents three major business verticals of L&T Energy Hydrocabon with substantial international presence - Offshore, Onshore and Carbonlite Solutions - on L&T’s Board of Directors. He is part of Stakeholder Relationship Committee of L&T’s Board.
He is also Member of the Board at L&T’s digital infrastructure subsidiary Vyoma.AI Limited and two major overseas subsidiaries, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
Besides being a member of L&T’s apex level Executive Committee (ECOM), he also guides L&T Institute of Project Management (IPM).
As a member of various professional bodies such as CIGRE India, CII’s National Council of Corporate Governance and Central Board of Irrigation & Power, Mr. Madhava Das regularly contributes his expertise towards the industry’s advancement.
In the course of a career exceeding 40 years, his versatile experience has spanned renewable energy and utilities businesses and related digital solutions, steering their profitable growth in India and its neighbouring countries, as well as the Far East, Middle East, CIS Countries, Africa and the USA.
