Our flagship CSR program for imparting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education was launched recently at Kavi Dulakag Primary School, NPSS, Vadodara.  The project, Engineering Futures’, launched in collaboration with the American India Foundation will extend to 25 Schools of Gujarat Government in Vadodara City & District, and help close to 3426 students of 6th, 7th and 8th standard. This flagship program will deliver easy-to-understand, technology-driven, project-based learning by well-trained teachers.

During March 2019 a contest ‘Innovate to Educate’ was held to invite L&Teers to design innovative low-cost models for simplifying Science and Math concepts and increase fun and engagement in learning.  Selected models from this contest are being used in the project as aid for teachers, to explain concepts more effectively, thereby carrying “L&T signature” in STEM content.

L&T’s CSR strategy lays emphasis on harnessing innovation and technology driven solutions to address social needs. Through this project, L&T plans to drive innovation by developing a scalable STEM Education model that proves to be a catalyst in the education field. ‘Engineering Futures’ aims to create and expand opportunities for all children to access the STEM education that will enable them to navigate the world in the 21st century.
